I’m Krystal, I am passionate about all things motherhood, supporting women, fertility journeys and more.
After my miscarriage in August of 2019 as the result of our first round of IVF, I realized I need to share all the information I have gathered in this past year for others going through this as well as allow myself a bit of an outlet.
A bit about my husband and I:
We met in college in 2011. Two years of friendship has since turned into 10 years of love!
We dated long distance for a year and married in 2014. Little did I know, the long-distance trial was just strengthening us for what was to come.
Infertility Journey:
Fast forward five years, and we are amid our battle with infertility. We have been trying to conceive (TTC) for four and a half years. This includes two failed IUIs, one round of IVF which started successfully but ended in a loss. We miscarried in August 2019, the week of our five-year anniversary. This journey has also included nearly $28,000 in medical bills as we are not ones with infertility coverage through our insurance.
I want this blog to be a beacon of hope for those feeling alone in their infertility path, a real look at life including fertility, marriage, puppies (of course) and just a closer look at life from our view.
